Micachu and the Shapes

Micachu and the Shapes just blew the roof off my bedroom.

Micachu, otherwise known as Mica Levy, is from Surrey, UK and has been playing music since she was four.

She released her entire first album Filthy Friends via myspace, with the help of friends Jack Peñate, Toddla T and Golden Silvers, among others.

Her band mates "the Shapes" include Raisa Khan on keyboards and Marc Pell on drums. Their music is mostly experimental, and very dance friendly...which basically means that I'm in love.

She even builds her own instruments, out of everything from vacuum cleaners to broken bottles.

Their newest single "Turn Me Well" was recently premiered on Bjorks website. This is just the beginning.
