Kris Menace, aka Christophe Hoeffel, is a dark horse in the French House / Electronic music community. He is a wizard-behind-the-curtains kind of guy; underground, obscure, and highly influential in the evolution of French house over the past 8 years.
The moniker "Kris Menace" was created in 2005 with the release of "Discopoli", although Menace has been producing since the mid-90s. He began as a producer / writer and founded the music label "Work It Baby", which launched the careers of producers like Lifelike and the luminous Fred Falke.
"Walking on Lighting" is a mash-up of Menace's "Lighting" and the Dream's "Walking on the Moon". This is classic R&B, with soulful vocals, a Morris Day and the Time sounding metronome beat, and perfect synth.
