Lisa Mitchell + Aeons

Lisa Mitchell is a twenty year old Australian singer-song writer who was somehow transplanted to Albury, New South Wales.

Her song "Oh Hark" is as ephemeral and transcendent as a flock of seagulls. My favorite version is remixed by AEONS, a production duo also from Australia.

Her voice reminds me of synthesized version of Harriet Wheeler's from The Sundays. I loved their cover of "Wild Horses" in the early 90s.

What is happening in Australia? Are there secret DNA experiments that are creating genetically modified, electro-pop super humans? It's uncanny.

Enjoy this little piece of exquisite.
